ABOUT NIS

What is the Neurological Integration System?

NIS bases its treatment methods on the neurophysiology principle that the brain governs optimum function of all body systems through its neurological circuitry. It is constantly receiving information from every facet of the body and in turn sends back fine tuning messages many times per second. This means every cell, gland, organ, muscle, tendon etc in the body is constantly monitored via these circuits to the brain.

From time to time circuits in the body become disconnected (similar to a fuse blowing in your home). Power or function to that particular circuit is now affected. This is brought about when certain stressors to the body exceed our individual limit. These stressors can be physical, pathological, neurological or emotional.

Similarly the brain no longer has full communication with the area of function represented by the circuit. While the brain knows all about the symptom pattern that occurs as a result of the stressors, it no longer knows about the circuits that represent the underlying cause.

Your sense of wellness is an expression of whether your brain is fully cognizant of all body systems.

Your sense of wellness is an expression of whether your brain is fully cognizant of all body systems.

The Neurological Integration System (NIS) is a ground breaking approach to healthcare management. As an NIS practitioner I am able to address the real causes of a wide range of complaints, to help you achieve superior and sustainable results. If your health concern is neurological, physiological, emotional or pathological, NIS can help.

How do I make the corrections?

I use a set of prioritised treatment protocols to evaluate the neurological circuitry and the facets of body function they represent. These checks evaluate all casual dysfunction that may have translated into symptoms.

I apply gentle pressure to a strong muscle, if one of your body systems (joint, muscle, organ) is short circuited, the strong muscle will not hold when the associated reflex is touched.  This allows me to find out why your body is not functioning correctly and subsequently make your brain aware of the short circuit in order to facilitate a re-connect thus allowing your body/brain to heal itself.
